About

T-S.W.A.P.’s mission is to remove barriers between artists, their work, and their audience.

The medium of printed clothing takes a piece of artwork or message, and allows it to travel the cultural landscape on the back of someone that resonates with it on some level.  Sharing that resonance is our purpose.

Our goal is to establish brick-and-mortars in the New England area, sourcing local artwork and messages shared by New England communities.

Based in, and originally from, the Quiet Corner of Eastern Connecticut, the New England Patriot team considered the difficulty of sourcing apparel with unique graphics, especially those that share positive/important messages that should have attention brought to them. On top of that we noticed a lack of generally-affordable clothing solutions for small businesses which would in turn be used to sell and furthermore raise funds for their business. Current clothing providers have cornered the New England clothing market and are steadily increasing the cost of retail-priced/brand named clothing, making it difficult to profit off their own products. We provide affordable clothing solutions, by order or in bulk, at a much lower rate than the competitors to actually assist business owners, allowing them to make a higher percentage profit than if they were to choose other name brand options.

Our Vision

Our vision is of a culture of collaboration, one that is cultivated by those who are passionate about their scene and the people in it.  Our vision is community- that the environment we live in is not a mosaic of institutions with missions, but a vast web of friend groups, families, and support networks; in other words, people who are there for you.  People’s need being there for each other is the soil from which this crazy forest grows.

This is true now, but too rarely do we see with our hearts and remember what it means.

Our Function

Our vision is that through using designs from freelance artist we can show off the many creators that otherwise struggle to get recognition. In the age of social media it is hard enough to compete online and actually receive an outlet for creators to monetize their craft.

At Tshirts with a Purpose, we have faith that by sourcing freelance designs, not only can we provide incredibly unique graphics, but can help artists succeed, by always contributing 30% of profit back to the creator.

We want to help creators reach independence to continue their passions, and with the help and support of consumers we have faith we can create a wholesome company to do so.
